I upgraded last week to one Sky Q box and one Sky Mini box. Since they were installed the Sky Q box constantly looses connection to my WIFI which means I haven't been able to use my Mini box at all as 99% of the time it can't see the Sky Q main box on the network. If I check the router admin page it shows the Sky box on Port 2 as disconnected. If I cycle power to the router it shows port 2 connected and I can get Sky connected again immediately. Saw a post about disabling Smart Setup on the HH6 which I have now done and I extended the DHCP lease to 20 days to see if that keeps me going any longer! "Default gateway unavailable" displayed when trying the troubleshoot process. Phoned SKY - did as they suggested - split the network leaving 5Ghz for the SKY and 2.4Ghz for connected devices. Sky's black routers have three internal antenna's - changing the wireless channel may well work If you are definitely getting online and then it disconnects then I'd change the channel. If you cannot get online then make sure you're putting the network key in in CAPS - normally 8 letters on a Sky router for WPA.

Before checking if you have a wider connectivity problem, make sure all your Sky Q subscriptions are working as expected. Good to know: If you don't have a Sky Q experience or Multiscreen subscription, you won't be able to watch Sky Q in another room on a Sky Q Mini box or connect your Sky Go app to your box, so Watch on Sky Q Mini box and Watch via Sky Go will show a cross.
